House was very big with a nice sun room with a huge dining set. My group of 6 friends loved it with its games, sitting area, and big windows. Nice view of the surroundings (farmland), feels like in the middle of nowhere. There were many rooms available to sleep in. Kitchen was fully functional with a view. 2 toilets but one bath only.

The houses are nice, but the restaurant was disappointing...

The houses are nice, but the restaurant was disappointing along with the hot spring. Snaefellsnes is an expensive area to stay in, but we splurged a bit for Midhraun and it wasn't worth it in the end.

Amazing place with great facilities for couples, families...

Amazing place with great facilities for couples, families and friend. On-site Geothermal Hot-Tub (large, with great changing facilities), restaurant/bar, occational live music, unique and comfortable rooms + free-standing houses for larger groups. The evening buffet is a must, the hot-pot is big and really warm, the service is great, the rooms nice, the shared kitchen & living room in house "Ömmu" amazing. Everything was in tip-top order, with a family-vibe throughout everything. Nice! The place is at an old farm next to a lava field. It's really beautiful and very very homey feeling. We would have loved to stay longer.
