Farm stays in Bologna

A beautiful location in the country. The Agriturismo is finished to a high standard and is well maintained. Breakfast was excellent. We arrived during a flood event affecting Bologna and surrounding towns. The owners made us feel at home and went above band beyond to make us feel safe and cared for.

If you are looking for a place to stay in Bologna this is it. Close to the city center by bus and you are surrounded by nature. The location is beautiful, the staff was exceptionally friendly, the food was good, and the rooms were very spacious and beautifully designed

We loved our stay here with our little toddler. A real oasis. Chiara and Eugenio make you feel at home. It is so well maintained. We were also surprised by how big the property is and how diverse the plantation is. You can tell that a lot of love goes into keeping it up. Just a note that breakfast is not included if you booked one of the two apartments. We didn't realise this until we arrived. You can pay extra (EUR 11 per person). But it didn't bother us since we had our own kitchen and cooked most of our meals ourselves.

We have stayed at several agriturismo's on this trip. This one was by far the most high tech and similar to an upscale hotel. The facilities were obviously very new, pleasantly and conveniently located. Situated in the midst of an olive orchard, across the road from a small seminario, on the outskirts of the city near a small village. We visited a small, local tratorria recommended by the host and it food, service, and atmosphere were excellent. We took a walk down the road to the left, past the seminario (they were singing vespers as we passed contributing to a compelling Italian authenticity. We continued walking down the lane past small communal vegetable guardens. Truly enjoyed the experience.

Great place to stay with friends as there are two rooms so we had the place to ourselves. Close to town with the tranquility of the countryside!
