The atmosphere throughout was peaceful and inviting, and the staff truly made the experience stand out. A special thank you to Donato from the breakfast team, and to Liliana and the other kind ladies at reception whose names we unfortunately didn’t catch – every single one of them was courteous, genuinely caring, and clearly committed both to the guests and to the quality of the place. Breakfast was very good, with a generous selection of fresh products and just the right amount of variety each day. The rooms and common areas were spotless, and the service overall was top-notch. We also enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the on-site restaurant – highly recommended. The setting itself is idyllic and makes it hard to leave. Would definitely return.

Wow! Our stay here was the highlight of our 25+ days on the Via Francigenia. The Borgo is a beautifully designed and built complex close to the castle. Our room was lovely, very comfortable and spotless. There is a lovely common area with drinks and coffee. The breakfast provided was delicious and with a lot of variety.
