The view, the garden, everything

This hotel ended up being one of our favourites on the entire trip. We stayed here our first night in Tokyo, and it ruined my expectations for Japanese hotels and hospitality for the rest of our trip! The room was massive by Japanese standards; the beds extremely comfortable (I found many of the other mattresses quite hard). We arrived very late - as dinner service was just windng up - but the bar staff allowed us to put in a last minute order and kept us well-supplied with free snacks! The rooms had lovely little balconies with a fantastic view of the Tokyo Tower. My absolute favourite part, though, was the gardens. They were gorgeous. And as we were staying there the night before Halloween, I was so thrilled to see pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns incorporated into the design. We spent a few hours - both the night we arrived and then the next morning- walking around and enjoying the gardens and their designs. I have stayed in a lot of conference centre hotels, and have an idea of what they are like. The Grand Prince Hotel Shin Takanawa really reminded me more of a resort (with the drawback of not being all-inclusive). Additionally, though not fully explained here, the Grand Prince is one of three hotel towers that share the name and location. You're able to walk between them and use restaurants/bars across the property with little scrutiny.

Very good location, 5 mins walk to Sensoji and 3 mins walk to Donki Jote and many good restaurants are around there too. The view from room is stunning!!!!! The room is very comfortable.

Staff was very helpful and considerate. Location was 7 minutes walk from Roppongi station, which is well connected to all sights. Roppongi hills is 10 minutes walk and great for shopping ,museums and restaurants. Room size was large and decent.

As always, location is great. Room facilities are great, and they always keep it clean. Staff are very respectful and helpful.

Loved the view of the Tokyo Tower from our bathroom! Room was the perfect size and super quiet. Enjoyed walking to the Ginza shopping area and the old fish market.

Super nice. If you are traveling in group. it is must stay hotel. More spacious than I anticipated.

Service, food quality, location

Stunning garden especially if you lucky enough to get there while Sakura is blooming or when the leaves are red. But in any season you will find peace in the garden. Great location, easy to get access to the surroundings, very good number of restaurants within the hotel and in walking distance to the hotel. Clean and quiet rooms. Really enjoyed the stay in the hotel second time.

Overall everything, in particular, the garden of course

The entire hotel from the first floor all the way to the reception area was beautiful. If you drove up there, they also have parking INSIDE the hotel. It’s amazing.

Good service, good property. Everything is just perfect. I'll definitely recommend to any traveller in Tokyo!

It was close to the subway station and it is very convenient

So perfect for travelling with family. Clean, easy, just perfect.
