5-Star Hotels in Malacca

I've always like this hotel. Even under new owners, the service and quality has not dropped. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are amazing, spacious too. They even provide senior citizen discount for breakfast, very thoughtful. Car park is ample and free.

The Majestic Hotel has always been my favorite place to stay in Melaka. It’s tucked away from the chaos of Jonker Street, yet still close enough to reach on foot. You can take a scenic walk along the river or wander through the town—both routes are equally enjoyable. The rooms are consistently clean and beautifully maintained. The facilities are excellent, and the staff are incredibly helpful, polite, and well-informed about the city and all it has to offer. The only thing I’d like to point out to the management is the bed—it looks plush and inviting, but unfortunately, it’s not as comfortable as it appears! A little upgrade in that area would make the stay absolutely perfect.

The bed was excellent, and all the utilities provided were complete and well maintained, including the air conditioner, refrigerator, iron, and a spotless restroom. The ocean view from the room was absolutely stunning and made the stay even more special. Check-in was smooth and right on time. I would also like to commend the staff — from the front counter to the security guards and restaurant team. Everyone was polite, professional, and genuinely helpful. The restaurant staff provided top-tier service that truly felt like a 5-star hotel experience. Overall, this stay exceeded my expectations.
