Our stay at Mamba Yala was the highlight of our three week trip to Sri Lanka! It was so epic to feel like we were really staying in the wild. The eco lodge is new, beautiful, and so peaceful with a private treetop deck and pool. Although they don’t speak much English, the hosts are SO so kind- they welcomed us with a delicious cold smoothie on arrival, took us on a “walking safari” of the grounds, cooked an amazing rice and curry dinner, and packed us a fresh and tasty lunch for the safari the following day. Highly recommend staying here!!

Amazing deluxe room in Green Villa. Spacious, clean and good AC. Family very friendly, relaxed, flexible. We were generously treated with mangoes and other fruits from the garden. They have over 5 species of mango (consider it a local mango tasting). Swimming pool clean and close to the lake. Kind dogs that help protect from a friendly elephant visit (who also wanted a nightly mango tasting).

We had an absolutely incredible stay. Property is breathtaking with beautiful views on the national park. Staff is exceptional: very friendly and looking out for your every need (eg bringing wet towels right after safari, setting up a private romantic dinner). Food is wonderful and the chef was very thoughtful. Safari was expertly organized, with a knowledgeable guide and great lunch set up in the park. Could not recommend more!

We had an incredible two-night stay at Leopard Nest. The jungle experience was truly unique and serene, offering a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. The staff went above and beyond to assist us with everything we needed, making our stay even more enjoyable. The safari was fantastic, and we were incredibly fortunate to spot both a leopard and a sloth bear!
