The camp is great both location, atmosphere, and staffs. The house was clean and quiet, although some bugs can be observed. The service is excellent and the food is really organic and healthy. This place also provides safaris so you need not to arrange with other tours.

The whole experience was breathtaking, it's a small facility, everything is quite new, with a modern and simple design. The experience is unique, the host, Madu is the most kind person, he showed us around the area. He really cares for nature and you can see it reflected everywhere. Madu also booked a full day safari for us. With the "Leopard King" a very experienced safari driver, who's excellent at beating the crowd and knows all the spots around the park - we've had a wonderful safari. Please note that this is very close to Yala National Park, you'll find animals all around the facility, be prepared to find animals in the bathroom as it has an open roof. It's beautiful and part of the experience. Unpaired hospitality from the whole crew! I can only recommend this to any nature lover

Our stay was amazing! The host connected directly with our safari guides and picked us up to bring us with his jeep to bring us into the jungle. He upgraded us for free to the treehouse and it was an absolutely incredible experience. The bbq fish was so delicious. Staff was very nice and helpful. We’ve stayed in a ton of places all over Sri Lanka and this was definitely a highlight. Would stay again!

Beautiful stay that transported me away to nature. The camp was stunning, with amazing outdoor meals, wonderful trails, and comfortable and well appointed tents. Beyond the site itself, everyone there was so caring, attentive, and knowledgeable. The safari was AMAZING- fun, educational, and we were lucky enough to spot a leopard and even a jungle cat. This is thanks to a keen eye and ability to know where to go, which was also away from the really busy sites so it felt much more private and enjoyable than expected.

The Leopard trails at Yala is a luxurious camp style resort on shores of a lake. We stayed in Deluxe tent with private pool and it was fabulous. The tent had total privacy. The room was huge and the bathroom was modern. The patio facing the lake was very private and great for just lazing around. The plunge pool was small but very nice on a hot afternoon. The room amenities were also good. The camp dinner and breakfast were good but not exceptional. We did 2 safari treks with our guide and naturalist Mr. Nolan. He was very knowledgeable and provided a wealth of information on the park, and its flora and fauna. It was his astute insight on the location in the park that we were able to see 2 leopards (a mating pair). A very rare sight, It was the highlight of our trip. In addition to leopards, we also saw crocodiles, deer, elephants (up close!), wild buffalos and a wide variety of exotic birds. This is a very well kept National Park and a must visit in Sri Lanka.
