Lovely staff, cozy and neat room. We were very happy with the warm reception and to our surprise they had a great restaurant next door with delicious fresh dishes, it was so convenient + reasonable prices, made us feel at home. We would just love to have planned to stay one more day in Assisi. Thank you Nina for everything!

My room was very nice and very clean! I did not arrive until 2:00 AM, and the keys to enter were in a lockbox on the door. I asked my contact if I could please have a later check out since I needed some sleep. He agreed and allowed me to stay much later. When he arrived, I paid for my room and he told me I could stay for as long as I wanted. I was so very happy and grateful!

Location was very close to Assisi, but in a very peaceful setting with a beautiful view. Giulio was a very welcoming host and offered great travel advice. He was easily available for help.

I went to Assisi to meditate, pray, And immerse myself in green. I wanted to feel the spirit of the place—maybe as St Francis had done. Camere le Cascatelle was perfect for this. It is located at the base of the Forest of St. Francis—right next to a stream. A bridge that crosses the stream takes you along a path that Gino, (owner of the house) says was once the main road to Assisi. An opera of birds, a view of the Cathedral and numerous stars in the deep blue sky added to the magic of the place. I had no trouble finding it-once I was given the co-ordinates. I took a bus to Assisi from the train station and then walked down the hill and uo the small country road by the creek until I found the place. In the morning, I took the path through the forest to arrive in the town itself. The room was clean-in good repair- warm- quiet and quaint. I would definitely go back.

If there was a breakfast, I did not know about it. It would have been nice if that were an option.
