We were there to take the Bernina Express. An easy walk to the train station so location gets a 10+. We were able to park our car in front of the house. As far as the room itself. Very clean and large and comfortable. Temperature of the room is self regulated. The kitchen/living room area is shared on the bottom floor and there are 4 bedrooms on the upper levels. I would stay there again for convenience and value and comfort.

The room was very colorful and plenty space for the two of us. Very close to everything, train/bus, restaurants and laundry. The owner was wonderful, we had an incorrect address and while communicating to one of our hosts trying to find it, the husband showed up by car and drove us 6 km back to the room! Above and beyond being a helpful host! We highly recommend staying at the Alexander rooms!!

This is an exceptional property in every way. It is incredibly beautiful, comfortable and perfect. The design is unique and utterly charming.

Excellent property, spacious, warm, extremely clean and very well located, just a short walk from the train station and within 5 minutes of many shops and restaurants. Maurizio, the host, was very responsive and accommodating throughout the stay. You can enjoy beautiful mountain views directly from the bed while having your complimentary coffee. The self check-in process is simple and straightforward. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are planning to take the Bernina Express or spend a couple of nights in Tirano.

Great at all. Cosy and beautiful the room, many trees are front of door, there is a pretty balcony, near the Tirano train station. We arrived early before checking-in time but the host still agreed to received. She helped us carrying our heavy baggages up stairs.

It is located in a calm area. There many cafes, bar, and restaurants around. The train station is near by and the Santuario della Madonna di Tirano is not far.

The two women who run this hotel are incredible and essentially saved my trip. After eating pizza down the street, I got severe food poisoning. I was so sick and traveling alone, and I couldn't get up and felt so embarrassed because I threw up in the shower and toilet. These women were incredibly kind; they cleaned up the bathroom, gave me a bucket, put my hair in a tie, and brought me a bunch of water. They checked on me every two hours to make sure I was okay, and the host even told me not to worry about checking out on time. I decided to book two more nights with them because they were so great, and I was actually able to go to the Olympic Games the next day. On my last night, the buses from the games were running late, and I was worried about missing the last train to Milan. The host brought my suitcase down several sets of stairs for me so I could immediately grab it and run to the station. I just can't say enough good things about this place and the women who run it. Clean and close to city center and walkable to train station. Write down codes so you don't forget. Place is very secure with 2 codes. Just call owner if you forget
