Incredible location so close to the lagoon

A beautiful peaceful haven right on the laguna, a short walk from town with plenty of restaurants nearby. A family-run business with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. And even its own private pier with hammock and free use of kayaks. A little slice of paradise!

If we would be able to rate 7 Cielos at 12 out of 10, we would do it. The place is amazing, the location at the water almost too good to be true. The kitchen is convenient and very cosy, kayaks at disposal to explore the lake, which was a lot of fun. Sunbeds ans hammacks in the water finish the experience. Don't use this place as a stopover, but spend at least 2 nights here to enjoy the peace, the nature & the magic!

Very nice staff, everything was very good

I stayed one night at Casa Mexico Lindo in Bacalar and absolutely loved it. The place is spotless, quiet, and really well designed. Everything feels thoughtful - from the comfortable rooms to the inviting pool. The staff were genuinely kind and helpful, and the whole atmosphere felt calm and welcoming. It’s also in a great location, close to the lagoon but still peaceful.

Cute, clean, comfortable, and well set up with a mini-fridge, coffee maker, and dedicated workspace. Fan and a/c which is nice. Good lighting as well, with a reading light by the bed and a light switch for the main light also by the bed. There's also a bookshelf with books, so you can tell they've considered those who like to read in bed-which is very appreciated! Thoughtful details.

We stayed in the budget unit. We liked the close proximity to the water. It had everything we needed and was comfortable. Although the washroom was not next to the unit, it was priced as such and was fine. The property offered free use of sit-on kayaks (4) and SUP’s (2) shared among the guests - great perk! Town of Bacalar was only 5km away - easy with a car.

Staff were really kind, especially the german girl (Marlen? My name memory is really 0...) You can rent bike for a whole day. The athmosphere of the place is amazibg, if you need 100%hostel vibes, that place is for you. I met amaxing people there, kitchen is simple but enough for everything you need, they have hot shower and a gorgeous garden. And the lake is like 5-10 min by walk, it's really nothing.

Very nice for the money. Easy walk to the central park and the water. Very laid back and safe. Highly recommend.
