If we would be able to rate 7 Cielos at 12 out of 10, we would do it. The place is amazing, the location at the water almost too good to be true. The kitchen is convenient and very cosy, kayaks at disposal to explore the lake, which was a lot of fun. Sunbeds ans hammacks in the water finish the experience. Don't use this place as a stopover, but spend at least 2 nights here to enjoy the peace, the nature & the magic!

All was very clean, silent, great facilities, comfy places, great attention from the stuff. And the bed!! So comfortable! We'll come back!

We stayed in the budget unit. We liked the close proximity to the water. It had everything we needed and was comfortable. Although the washroom was not next to the unit, it was priced as such and was fine. The property offered free use of sit-on kayaks (4) and SUP’s (2) shared among the guests - great perk! Town of Bacalar was only 5km away - easy with a car.

Casa Mech in Holbox Island provides adults-only accommodations with a rooftop pool and a garden. A public bath and a bicycle rental service are available for guests.

Tuvimos una experiencia excelente en Casa Mech. Desde el primer momento nos hicieron sentir como en casa. Mauricio e Irais fueron unos anfitriones excepcionales: siempre atentos, amables y dispuestos a ayudar con cualquier cosa que necesitáramos. Nos ofrecieron de todo, nos dieron muy buenas recomendaciones y estuvieron pendientes de que nuestra estancia fuera perfecta. Se nota que son muy buenas personas y que disfrutan haciendo que sus huéspedes se sientan cómodos. La atención fue cercana, cálida y profesional al mismo tiempo. Sin duda, uno de los mejores lugares donde hemos estado en Holbox. ¡Muchísimas gracias, Mauricio e Irais! Esperamos volver muy pronto. 100 % recomendable.

Right on the beach, within walking distance of everything. Hosts were friendly and couldn’t help us more. They even cooked us a lobster dinner as we bought some local lobster. We enjoyed having a communal kitchen as well. David took us onna very reasonably priced eco tour where we saw dolphins, sea turtles and a manatee! An experience of a lifetime!

A beautiful peaceful haven right on the laguna, a short walk from town with plenty of restaurants nearby. A family-run business with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. And even its own private pier with hammock and free use of kayaks. A little slice of paradise!

I stayed one night at Casa Mexico Lindo in Bacalar and absolutely loved it. The place is spotless, quiet, and really well designed. Everything feels thoughtful - from the comfortable rooms to the inviting pool. The staff were genuinely kind and helpful, and the whole atmosphere felt calm and welcoming. It’s also in a great location, close to the lagoon but still peaceful.
