We had a fantastic stay at Calmaria Guest House while walking the Rota Vicentina trail. The location is perfect—tucked away in a quiet area yet just a short walk from the bus stop and the trail, making it very convenient for hikers. The guest house itself is new, modern, and impeccably clean, creating a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Our host, Felipa, was incredibly warm and accommodating, offering great local recommendations for dining and making sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were spacious and cozy, ensuring a good night’s rest after long days of walking. Breakfast was a highlight, with a delicious spread and plenty of variety to start the day right. Overall, we highly recommend Calmaria Guest House—it’s the perfect place to recharge while exploring the Rota Vicentina!

This was our 2nd stay at peaceful Monte do Cerro farm and enjoyed it very much. The 1 bedroom house was requested because we liked it so much last time, cozy and comfortable for 2 adults and 2 pups. The fireplace with ample wood was so nice. I can see the house also accommodating 2- 3 children. The kitchen is well equipped and we were prepared to make most of our meals as a healthy and substantial breakfast comes with the stay. Linens, towels and bedding was ample, we were set. We, including the pups, loved our walks to see the farm animals. Great rejuvenating 5 nights and we will be back next year after Cmas.
