We enjoyed the spacious living and dining areas and we cooked several meals in the fully-equipped kitchen. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the bathrooms were excellent. Kenji welcomed us personally and we felt comfortable calling him with any questions. The furnishings and artwork made the home feel very Hawaiian.

Beautiful, well-maintained property. We enjoyed sitting on the patio area outside our room eating the continental breakfast ,viewing the beautiful landscape and listening to the waterfall on the property. The property is very close to downtown Hilo and other tourist attractions.

We had a lovely welcome from Andy and the directions we were given were perfect . The apartment was spacious , very well equipped and spotlessly clean . The sound of the waves from the nearby seashore was amazing .The location was perfect for visiting the volcano national park and we recommend joining a trip to the summit of Mauna Kea . We would highly recommend choosing to stay here and do go and look at the beautiful sunrise at the point about 2 minutes walk away .

This is a super cute botique hotel with really elegant and local decor. I loved hearing the coqui frogs at night, and the view from our room looked out to lush rainforest. It was very peaceful and not too remote-- Hilo is only about a 20 minute drive down the Hawaii belt-- though you feel like you're in the middle of nature. The breakfast is simple but well thought out. Very close to 'Akaka Falls.
