Homestays in Tanawha

Such a beautiful surprise at the end of our journey in Queensland to have the absolute pleasure of staying in the Ancient Gardens Guesthouse and Botanical Gardens. The property owners are kind and generous people, who take immense pride in their place in which you will feel comfortable and welcome. The collection is astounding and well looked after, a true testament to the hard work of Peter. A stay here will both rest and inspire.

This room in the accommodation is nicely set up and relaxing; it's very cosy! There's two bathrooms to choose from, each with a shower and toilet. Washing machine and dryer on premises, communal kitchen with heaps of shelving in the fridge for each room. The people here are lovely, and I felt safe enough to leave my door open and sleep at times, which is such a peaceful feeling. It was a nice stay away from Brisbane, and the price is good value that it makes it affordable! In general, I've found the people on the Sunshine Coast to be quite wonderful, and this includes the host of the accommodation too! Plus there's a cat nearby called Frankie (belonging to a neighbour), he's very cute! Thank you very much for everything! When I come up again I might stay here again!

The location was serene and tranquil with the sounds of nature in abundance. The thunderstorms were awesome to experience and brought a cool breeze with them that was much appreciated. We had the fresh eggs for dinner and if we were not travelling back to Adelaide, we definitely would have bought some to take home...amaaazing.

Very good location . Handy to all amenities. Very quiet and peaceful easy access to river( 1 Min), to watch the birdlife and sunrise on river etc. Easy 10 min walk to beach. Great little shopping center just across main road. The owners were very friendly and at the same time respected our privacy.

great location, just a stall away from the village and train station in a quite residental area. new modern room, quality bedding, very clean.
