Great price and great location! The home was perfect for our quick trip. We loved that it was a straight shot and easy ride on the Canada line to the airport or downtown. Will definitely stay here again if we ever make our way back.

Very clean, affordable and comfortable.

The location was very conveniently near main arteries and they were accessible from either direction from the house. Lots of room for SUV's and small cars. The staff were very helpful and the early check in was helpful. I felt very comfortable there by myself. The other guests that stay there a helpful and considerate. Good responsiveness from the owner who was always on site. He greeted me and showed me where to park, and proceeded to provide detailed instructions on where to move my belongings.

Located a bit far away from the city hustle with small shops for grocery and coffee within a 10 min walking distance. It’s beautiful and calm here.

Very basic, nothing fancy here, which is just what I wanted. Clean and tidy and simple. I had a flight that came in late in the evening and I knew I wasn't going to drive anywhere after that so I needed a place near YVR to spend the night before driving home the next day. John's House let me park my car at the curb for the weekend while I was gone (free on-street parking). They were very responsive to messages I left on Bookings.com for them, usually responding within an hour or less. I think this place is a lovely find, a little treasure. I would stay here again anytime.

We stayed at the Guest House for three nights with our son, his wife and their three children (ages 5, 9 and12). The house itself was amazing! Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate our group; a large kitchen and sitting area for us to all gather together; nooks and crannies to have our own space when we wanted. The weather wasn't great, but when there was sun, the outside deck had a great view of the surrounding area. The location was also amazing. Close to the Sky Train, major bus lines and Pacific Centre; lots to see within easy walking distance. Plenty of restaurants, bars and coffee shops available and the grocery store and liquor store were easy to find. The Guest House cost more than I wanted to spend on lodgings, but given the ample space and superior location, I think it was worth it. A great find and an amazing host!
