The price. This was my first time to stay in an apt. The owner spoke English and he had put a lot of effort to provide amenities (eye mask, bathing salts, silk robes, towels, toothbrush, charging outlets, air filter, etc.) But a little more orientation (besides pointing to location of room & bathroom) to what I could use would have been helpful. The bed was comfortable & quilt was warm enough. It was relatively clean.

The location is super central and the apartments are in a local Shanghainese house. We were staying at Yunnan room and it was great to have breakfast in the veranda during sunny days. I enjoyed also the common area with kitchen and dining table. Staff very supportive. Good value-price-comfort-location
