Perfect place to stay, very near the main road.

I love the view from the windows in the room and the shared common area downstairs. You can do a surf check on the Sticks, Marshmallows, and Insight surf spots. The wifi internet works well too. Each room gets its own router that you can move around if you want to work in the living room or rooftop. The bed is very comfortable and all the furniture and appliances (TV, AC) are new. The manager Jay is friendly and helpful with recommendations and making sure you are comfortable.

Beautiful place, so lovely to have a cafe on site. Tons of birds and monkeys visiting in the mornings.

I’ve been traveling for a while in Sri Lanka and I haven’t seen any house like this. The architecture of the house is so unique – high ceilings, bright shining rooms. From every window, you can see palms, feel the ocean breeze, and hear the sound of the waves in your ears and on your skin. It’s only a 15-meter walk to the beach, which is amazing – a long, sandy stretch perfect for walks and sunsets. At this time of year, it’s very quiet, just the beach and the round house. The property is surrounded by coconut trees and birds, creating a peaceful atmosphere. The owners are a very lovely family who put their hearts and love into everything they do here. I definitely recommend it.

Hosts Igor and Michelle were fantastic. Made sure our yoga classes were suited to my lack of yoga ability. Meals were sensational and fresh and delicious. Great to sit around afterwards to chat to them and other guests.

Absolutely loved my stay at Tao Villa. The place was peaceful, beautiful, and had such a calming vibe from the moment I arrived. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and made me feel at home the entire time. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. One of my favorite parts was the atmosphere so relaxing and perfect for slowing down and enjoying the moment. The hospitality here is truly something special. I honestly didn’t want to leave. I highly recommend a tiny house to anyone looking for a cozy, peaceful, and unforgettable stay. Can’t wait to come back again 🤍

I had a wonderful stay at Ahangama Surf Club. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout my visit. The owner went above and beyond to make me feel at home, even inviting me to join some gatherings with his friends, which was a very thoughtful gesture and a lovely example of Sri Lankan hospitality. The location is excellent, right in the centre of Ahangama, with some of the best cafés, bars, and shops just a short walk away. There are always tuk-tuks available outside if you want to explore further away. My room was clean and comfortable, with a good shower and a lovely balcony overlooking the sea. Despite the central location, the rooms are set back from the road, so it was peaceful and quiet with no street noise. I would happily recommend Ahangama Surf Club to anyone visiting the area.

I had a beautiful room with an outdoor shower which I loved. The garden is a real oasis with interesting wildlife to spot and it was really relaxing to spend some time by the pool before walking down to the beach. The garden here is really special and the architecture of the building is beautiful. The staff were super attentive.

I'm delighted, this is the best place I've been to in Sri Lanka! very friendly staff, clean room, quiet at night, there are common areas: kitchen, terrace, laundry, hammock. The hotel has its own cafe downstairs, where dishes are prepared in 5 minutes and are very tasty! I went to yoga almost every day and it was so calm and relaxing. 30 seconds to the ocean, just cross the road. the beach is comfortable and beautiful, the ocean water is clean and you can surf for beginners and experienced ones. There are a lot of cafes and restaurants nearby. I went for a walk to Galle Fort 2 times. I made friends with the staff and felt so safe even though I was traveling alone. Mellow Hostel is the best!

They whole family such nice special people.I stayed 3 nights.Dilan and his family cared me a lot.Breakfast and dinner was absolutely delicious.It was the most clean hotel I had stayed in Sri Lanka. I felt being part of the family🤍

My stay at Step Inn Ahangama was excellent. The property is new, spotless, and conveniently located near local attractions. The host was exceptionally helpful and attentive, personally preparing a delicious breakfast each morning with fresh bread and fruit. Highly recommended

Perfect place to stay, clean and the family is very sweet and welcoming.

It was very cute and was so nice to have my own space. Felt like I had my own mini pad in ahangama and not a traditional hotel. It was very comfortable and cozy. Even though it’s on the main road, the set up feels very serene.
