Kenneth set up Mango House originally to cater for Japanese tourists to Sri Lanka. Post-COVID he made the decision to open up to everyone and I'm so glad he did. The grounds are immaculate, and there is such an obvious sense of pride in what he does. The guest house is essentially it's own little compound with gardens and a pool, And is such a wonderfully peaceful break from the chaos.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and all the amenities were exactly as described. I felt well taken care of during my entire stay. I’m very satisfied with the service and would definitely recommend this hotel to others looking for a pleasant and hassle-free stay.

The pool and the staff was amazing. Moreover, the rooms were very clean, comfortable, and the view from the roof top restaurant incredible. The location is close to nice restaurants and the beach.

It’s a small place where it was easy to meet and chat with other travelers. It’s nearby the airport so easy and quick to get to. Within walking distance of the beach. The pool area is quiet and relaxing. The hotel was very accommodating, offering great breakfast and very delicious dinners.

Anicia Beach House is at the heart of an authentic fishing village set right on the beach ,where you'll be greeted with a warm smile by Pathum who will take care of your every need , from cooking you a wonderful authentic Sri Lankan breakfast ,to taxi rides and where to eat locally. He is a wonderful host and very friendly guy. The rooms are spacious ,clean and comfortable and super budget friendly, there is kitchen that you can use, a covered seating area where you can enjoy watching the ocean and the daily life of fishing boats and their catch of day. The people in this village will make your stay feel wonderful , they love to talk with you and are always smiling and happy to see you. I stayed here for 10 days and loved every minute. Location to local restaurants a short walk away and the beach on your door step was perfect.. Plus the people here are super friendly ,kind and warm. I won't forget Anicia Beach House,and when I come back to Negombo it will be my go to place to stay and know that Pathum and my clean room will be their waiting for me . 🙏😊😊🙏🙏

I stayed at Edward’s Airport Guest for one night and had a great experience. The host is incredibly nice and kind. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. There’s also a pool where you can chill and relax, which is a nice bonus. The location is very convenient—only about 20 minutes from the airport. I highly recommend staying here and would definitely come back again.

Super close to the beach and an array of dining establishments. Great family host with good and clean room. Perfect to begin or end your journey in Sri Lanka.

This little gem of a hotel was located just a few blocks from the main strip and so was peaceful and quiet with a pool as well. The host, Manjula(?), was very accommodating and took care of everything we needed and he maintained the grounds so perfectly. It was really quite a pleasure to stay here! The beds were the best in Sri Lanka, room had hot water, a/c, mini-fridge and kettle. Perfect!

It was very welcoming stay right on the beach. The owner was very helpful and kind. Food was also good.

The hostess was very kind and helpfull. There is a big shared balcony which is very convenient. The room is clean.

The place is very close to the beach ⛱️, Dhannjaya is a very good host, we had great time with him and if you are there must try the English breakfast which is only thing they serv but it's very good and filling 🥧. I would say value for Money and close to the Airport 🌻

With good security and all the facilities, it had all the facilities at a reasonable price.The owner is also a very friendly person.

Friendliness & hospitality

Lahiru and his family are incredibly friendly, warm and hospitable. we enjoyed some lovely conversations with them. They welcomed us with a delicious avocado shake, and the traditional breakfast was both plentiful and delightful. The room matched the description perfectly. a balcony, comfortable bed with mosquito net, and spotless bathroom. Despite its central location, the accommodation is very peaceful and quiet. Thanks for everything!❤️🥰
