The room was clean, spacious. Excellent quiet location, friendly owners, beautiful garden and rich breakfast. There was even a shower cabin in the bathroom so that we didn't get the whole room wet, which is a real rarity in Sri Lanka.

Very clean property and rooms are spacious and new, and the location is 15 min walk to tooth temple.

One of the best place I ever visited. The most loving thing was the view. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean. Clam and relaxing environment. All the facilities are available in the hotel. It's better to take an Uber or a Pick me to go to the hotel.

Awesome location, outside the city chaos with a glorious view from the terrace. Only a short walk to the city, around the corner you’ll also find shops and bakeries. Staff super helpful and nice :) spacious rooms and comfy beds. great value overall.

Amazing place, maybe the best we had ever. Natural, in the middle of the nature. Lovely view over the river. Excellent place for relaxation. Generous service. Very attentive an smily staff, especially Buddhika. Very good breakfast. Amazing Yoga space. We were in room 10, new building, not view to the river, but to a valley. Joint small lobby with room 9. I had a very good massage with Ashoka.

This property is an oasis… a lovely garden setting and calm and clean. Sulthan and his wife are very warm and caring hosts . Their breakfasts were amazing!

Room has very good view. Built is modern and well managed. Hot water was available all the time. It is near to Train station. Hosts are very helpful.

I loved everything about my stay at Hanthana Jungle View HH. The room was spotless, the bed was comfortable and there was a lovely outdoor sitting area to enjoy the serene surroundings. I also enjoyed morning walks up the road. I had spent a few days in the busy city of Kandy and was happy to come here to relax. I loved getting to know the family, who were so welcoming and helpful. I ate both breakfast and dinner there and the food was delicious and plentiful. There is also drinking water, tea and coffee in the shared kitchen so guests could help themselves.

The staff are wonderful, and the location and views of the Temple and Lake are great. The delicious local breakfast was a feast every morning. The balcony was a great place to relax

It was nice it was one street away from the main road.

An excellent accommodation for few nights!The owner is very kind and always available for any questions or help. The room is modern and had everything we needed. I really recommend staying here!

Breakfast was excellent. Punctually served with freshly made fruit juice, coffee, bread with egg and a beautiful vegetable soup. Sitting at my private table on the terrace in the sun to the sound of birds. Security was good with the host always ready to help and with security cameras installed at the exits. Good advice for travelling further and a very pleasant experience altogether. Note: It is important to cross over the main road from the station "to the side with the huge BUDDHA" and then using the zebra crossing just 100metres further up the main road towards the west, turn left into a side street before the shop selling sweets and drinks [with a sign Namrasa Hotel above]. There is an off-license selling beer to alcohol addicts. Go up the passageway [to the left of the off-sales, unpaved and messy if it rained] for 20 metres and the Princess Hotel is on the left behind a metal sliding door. The side lane looks dangerous at night time [when I arrived] and booking.com don't help at all with trying to communicate that you are there, as booking.com want to make their money, at the cost of your worry, so you can't actually send the hotel a message, but as long as booking.com gets their money they don't mind, that you are out on the street at night unaware of where the hotel is that you booked and it is too late to cancel. That's why I try to describe here where the place is, to avoid anyone else getting in the situation that I landed in and ZERO help as you wander the streets.
