Is exactly as advertised. "A budget double room in a house", but nicer & great value. Is a lovely older character villa thats been modernised. Quiet, peaceful, homely, lovely bathroom & a great host, will definitley stay again if need accomodation near Waihi.

Peaceful and private accommodation with great view. Lovely and clean. Comfortable and safe for my 93 year old mother. A few mins drive to town center. Proprietor very welcoming and informative 👍

Onetai is a special place. The setting in the NZ bush is both beautiful and exciting and the light features created by the host Steve are stunning.The house is very welcoming and comfortable with everything you could need for a nice stay, but the bonus upon bonuses is the host Steve. Steve is unassuming but packs a lot talent and skill in what he has created at Onetai but also as an exceptional host in every way. Nothing is too hard. We had an exceptional breakfast with superb coffee. The surrounding nature is accessible through a very cool trail and Steve also took us down his road to see Glow worms at night. Overall we had a wonderful stay.

What a GEM of a little place away from home this is. We had a awesome stay, the guest house was exceptionally clean, tidy and neat ... everything you need for a day or two or even longer is available. Very relaxing atmosphere and the outside property is a treat to wonder around looking at nature and all the garden sculptures. Ray and Elena was very welcoming and great hosts. Definitely highly recommended and can't wait to book the guest house again - see you soon Goods :-)
