I find the idea quite original, transform a prison into a hostel. All the doors and the main equippments of a prison have been conserved, the staff is extremely friendly and accessible and the hostel is equipped with a nice restaurant and all the facilities needed, The kitchen has a coffee machine which surprised me in a good way. Totally recommend.

Only a 10-minute walk from the train station, this modern hostel in the center of Chur features 2 bars and offers free WiFi in public areas. VIVA Hostel also features a dance club.
