Really convenient to have a hostel like this one in the Peak District! The cottage we got to stay in was great, and the communal area was even better—perfect for playing cards and chatting. Would recommend!

Beautiful property especially in the snow! Room as warm which was amazing for in the snow. Staff were really lovely and there were spaces for us to be together as a big group of 8 without disturbing others.

Surrounded by the Peak District countryside, this Victorian gothic mansion is set in formal gardens and 27 acres of parkland.
