The hostel is located in a really good spot and I really like the street it's in. It also just happened that my birthday fell during my stay there and I was surprised by Sam! He really waited until midnight to greet me with an ice cream with really cute birthday topper. So sweet! On the day I left, it was too bad I wasn't able to say goodbye as I was already running late on my bus back to KL.

the beds were comfortable with lots of storage space, the bathrooms were clean and had shower gel! and there was free breakfast in the morning, but it was just toast with peanut butter (still nice if you’re a low budget traveller!)

Located in a quiet back street but only a short walk to the main tourist area, in particular Chinatown. I liked the outside area by the entrance where I could sit by the table and read my book at night time (although the chair was ridiculously hard so I sat on a pillow!). The room was adequate.
