Chalet Wallehen in Saalbach offers five high-quality and cozy apartments in an absolutely prime location. Situated directly on the Schattberg slope (A1), you can enjoy true ski-in/ski-out convenience – there’s no easier way to start a winter holiday. The chalet is set in a quiet, idyllic, secluded location, yet is only a few minutes’ walk from the village center. At Chalet Wallehen, you can choose from several spacious and stylishly furnished holiday apartments for 2 to 10 people. Depending on the unit, you will find one to three separate bedrooms with double beds, some also featuring additional single beds, bunk beds, or sofa beds. Modern bathrooms with showers and, in some cases, separate toilets provide extra comfort. Some apartments also offer a private infrared sauna or sauna – perfect for relaxing after an active day.

Thanks to its perfect location directly on the Schattberg X-Press ski slope, the chalet is a true ski-in/ski-out accommodation. Step straight into your skis or snowboard right outside the property, be the first to carve tracks in the fresh morning snow, and glide back to your doorstep after an exhilarating day on the slopes. From the chalet, you can enjoy the full diversity of the Skicircus Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang-Fieberbrunn. The property is slightly elevated above the center of Saalbach and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys of one of Austria’s largest interconnected ski regions. The village center, with its wide selection of restaurants, ski shops, après-ski venues, and supermarkets, can be reached on foot in approximately 2–3 minutes. In addition to the Schattberg X-Press located right next to the chalet, the Bernkogel cable car and the Kohlmais lift are also within about a 10-minute walk. A ski bus stop is located directly on the main road, providing quick and easy access within minutes to the largest lift systems in the region.
