The DAV-Haus, run by the Deutscher Alpenverein, is located in the center of Obertauern, only 164 feet away from the Gamsleiten ski elevators. Parking is available free of charge. There is a restaurant, a TV room, and a sun terrace. Rooms are simply decorated and feature wooden paneling and furnishings and a private bathroom. The DAV-Haus is owned by the German Alpine Club.
