A cosy mountain cottage with fireplace, spa bath for 2 & lots of sunny deck space in your own little valley. Rustic & steadily being renovated but that's part of the charm. 10 mins walk downhill from Leura station and village-the perfect escape! It's the perfect little mountain retreat, great for writers, couples, hikers, climbers and little families. We think our cottage is a slice of rustic heaven. Guest have access to the main cottage and outdoor areas. Access to the downstairs storage area and laundry off-limits. We are steadily renovating this lovely old cottage so there are a few things that you should know. Everything works but there are a few tricks. The gas also takes a couple of minutes to reach the oven if it hasn't been used for a while- just hold the knobs a little longer and you're cooking with gas! There is plenty of heating, but please feel free to bring a bag of firewood if you would like to use the fire. Please note that the sauna is currently out of action.

We are a couple of kiwis who have made Sydney home after living in London and Paris. Outside of our day jobs, we spend as much time as we can in the mountains- hiking, climbing, travelling and generally loving life.

Leura village is a sweet little garden town filled with cafes, shops and restaurants. There are some great beer gardens, wine bars, bakeries and delis so we're sure you'll find something you like! Just a little walk from the village and you'll find the sweeping wild vistas which make the blue mountains famous worldwide.
