Designed specifically to be sympathetic to the natural setting with natural colour tones, locally sourced and artisan built recycled timber kitchen, local artisan ceramics and paintings, we hope we have created a very special relaxing single/couple's retreatin an ideal private quiet position - with majestic views overlooking the Promised Land mountain range and bush on our 2 hectare property ( an old farm located just on the edge of town ) but only a 3-minute drive/10-minute walk to Bellingen's main street you have the best of both worlds - no neighbours in sight, just the beautiful views, but easy proximity to our special town of Bellingen. Enjoy Bellingen's main heritage street, cafes, restaurants, art/food markets, and festivals. Walks along the riverbank, nearby bush walks, Dorrigo Rainforest National Park and North Coast pristine mostly deserted beaches are only a short 20 minute drive away. With a superior hotel quality king extra long bed with mattress protector and mattress extra comfort cover, you will enjoy a relaxing comfortable sleep. In the morning, you will be welcomed with beautiful bush and mountain range views from your bed through large picture pane windows that have been designed to make the most of the setting, inside and outside on the verandah. The verandah is a perfect setting to relax and reconnect with nature -enjoy watching the abundant native bird life on display and the bush/mountain views which constantly change in colours and light . With a slow combustion woodfire for chilly evenings, a garden fire pit to enjoy the stars, and a private open-air enamel bath to luxuriate in with a glass of bubbles , you are guaranteed to relax in this space so close to town, yet feel " a million miles away"! Sonja is a passionate local kindergarten teacher and Bruce a medical doctor, both love to do all the wonderful local things that beautiful Bellingen offers - cycling and walking bush trails, forest walks with waterfalls and pristine rivers for swimming and kayaking, fabulous local food and coffee to enjoy , local music, markets and arts festivals - there is always plenty to do and see in this gorgeous part of NSW.

Bellingen is known for its close proximity to pristine beaches, rivers and rainforest. It has a vibrant community of artists, musicians and a variety of great coffee shops and restaurants. Set in the beautiful Bellinger Valley with the Bellingen river passing through the town, is is a serene and picturesque setting.
