Tucked in the vibrant village of Bellingen, Bello Cottage exudes vintage charm and comfort and is enveloped in lush gardens with mountain glimpses. The cottage includes - large bedroom with queen bed - living room with a queen sofa bed, 3-seater couch, small dining table, books and vintage knick-knacks - small kitchen with tea, coffee, milk and cereal - split-system aircon/heater and ceiling fans - bathroom with shampoo, conditioner and body wash - washing machine, laundry soap and washing line - large deck with seating, table and garden views. The cottage is a 15 minute stroll or 2 minute drive to Bellingen main street, and a 15 minute drive to beaches. Come and feel the serenity! STAYING AT BELLO COTTAGE - Self check-in anytime after 3pm and check out anytime before 10am. - Arriving: you are welcome to park in the driveway to unload your car. - Parking: after unloading, please park on the street, a very quiet cul-de-sac with lots of parking. If you are traveling with a pet, pre-approval is required. Please provide your pet’s age and description so we can send our pet policy and fee (Booking.Com can't automate this unfortunately). Please note that we can only accommodate mature, calm, and well-behaved pets. Please feel free to message us with any questions.
I grew up in Melbourne, and after stints living in Tokyo, Los Angeles, Cape Town, Sydney and coastal Vic, I now live in Bellingen with my dog, Moo. We enjoy meeting people, but we're equally happy to give our guests complete privacy. We hope to host you soon!
Bellingen is a vibrant, bohemian town with a laid back atmosphere, incredible food, and spectacular nature all around. Spend days hopping from one great eatery to another, grab a gelato from the famous gelato shop, or get into some retail therapy at the up-market Emporium or one of the many funky op-shops. With swimming spots, ancient rainforest, dramatic waterfalls, remote beaches, there’s enough nature to explore for weeks. Drive up to Dorrigo for the day, pack the swimmers and head to the Promised Land, Valla Beach or Scott’s Head, or hunt for old wares and treasures at Macksville or the Raleigh Secondhand Store. There are so many townships nearby and each have their own character.

Pet polices:

Please note that pets will incur an additional charge of 50 AUD per stay, per pet.

Please do not allow animals on the bed or furniture. We provide a medium-sized dog bed and a sheepskin rug they can snuggle into.

While the cottage is not fenced, the property itself is fenced. Your dog is welcome to sniff around the garden and do their business (we’re very happy to pick up poops!).

I’m afraid that we can’t have pets unattended on the property. The local pet boarding service is Bellingen Dog Care (02 6655 1979) and is 3kms west of town on Waterfall Way. They offer day-time pet-sitting and overnight boarding.

If your dog needs a wash, pet shampoo is under the sink, and hose and bucket are in front of the cottage deck. You’ll also find dog towels on the deck for drying them off.

Please don’t allow wet dogs in the cottage. Thanks!
