Like so many of our guests, we fell in love with this beautiful little coastal village and never wanted to leave. Brooms Head is a small coastal village where life moves at a slower pace and, as our regular visitors often say, very little seems to change. With minimal development, no busy shopping strips and little more than a General Store and Bowling Club, it offers the kind of simple, old-fashioned beach holiday that has become increasingly hard to find. Surrounded by the natural beauty of Yuraygir National Park and miles of unspoilt coastline, days here are spent swimming, surfing, fishing, kayaking, walking the beach, spotting kangaroos, Coastal Emus, enjoying the abundant birdlife, star-gazing or simply relaxing and enjoying the slower pace. It’s a place where families reconnect, children play on the beach and the natural surroundings provide much of the entertainment. That simplicity is exactly what draws people back to Brooms Head year after year. For those wanting restaurants, shopping and more to explore, the nearby towns of Yamba and Maclean are within easy driving distance, making it possible to enjoy the best of both worlds before returning to the peace and quiet of Brooms Head.
