Yamba is a beautiful little town with good shops and lots of walking opportunities. I took the ferry across to Iluka to walk the world heritage rainforest track. That was truly amazing. Easy to get around with no car. I will be back with more time. A highlight of my trip!

An untidy, spread-out place with little to offer, unless you are a keen fisherperson - even then I think Iluka is a better option. Driving around is always slow as the roads are narrow and carry a lot of traffic - even in the off-season. It would be unbearable in peak season. Finding somewhere to park is another challenge. In short, I cannot recommend it. There is little shopping available. The food outlets are not that impressive. The best food outlet I found was the Argyle Hotel in nearby Maclean.

Yamba has beaches, fishing great breakwall walks.

Yamba has beaches, fishing great breakwall walks. There is a variety of shops and shopping centers. Also some of the most beautiful National Parks!! A couple of pubs and clubs serving great food. Enjoy a feed of Clarence River schoolie prawns from the co-op. Cheers

Loved Yamba the Thai restaurant rated high on our list for best food . Had some incredible sausages from the butcher , yummy icecream from the ice cream shop . Some incredible beach walks and really enjoyed the Sunday market and some shopping in the local clothing stores . Yamba has lots to offer as well as friendly people . Our dog Murphy enjoyed all the attention and our stay in Lime Tree cottage was amazing .

Yamba has great beaches and plenty of beautiful views. Eateries and shops were within easy walking distance. Bike riding was easy as was walking on the pathways. Pippi beach a great location for beach walks. Angourie was a great place to visit - Spooky Beach.

We return to Yamba annually usually for the Maclean...

We return to Yamba annually usually for the Maclean Gathering over Easter, We couldn't make it this year but decided to come down to our favourite haunt for a few days. We love the beaches at Angourie and Yamba, the Rocks, Blue Pools and the Groin. The cafes and restaurants are plentiful and varied and have a friendly atmosphere
