Our property enables guests to experience nature while being a short drive to shops or beach. An ability to observe animals in their natural environment such as koalas, emus, kangaroos, wallabies, water birds and bush birds (amazing dawn chorus). The cottage is solar powered making it the perfect eco-holiday, set up to run everything in the cottage. The cottage has a fridge, gas stove for all your cooking needs, gas heater, fan and TV. The large undercover deck is perfect to enjoy views of the property or share a meal. Please note rates reflect increased operating, compliance, and platform costs across Victoria.
Our family enjoy spending time at Bridgewater Beach, a very expansive beach that is great for swimming and strolling (as far as the eye can see). The seal colony there is also great to experience by boat or walk. The petrified forest on the cliff top is also a short drive away with incredible sunsets - seeing the sun sink into the ocean.
Very quiet space to relax away from traffic and demands of life. A place to reconnect with nature and enjoy walks. It is very peaceful place in an ever shrinking world. A short drive to the Bridgwater Lakes, Tarragal Caves, Bridgewater Beach, National Parks or in to the Portland township (first permanent European settlement in Victoria). Some guests bring their bikes and cycle out to Bridgewater or into Portland during their stay.
