Our home consists of 2 separate buildings separated by a covered breezeway. On one side is the main residence and on the other is the guesthouse. We have designed it to preserve our guests' (and our own) privacy and has its own back yard. Great for families! You will love the peace and quiet here with only the sounds of the bush to be heard. If you are feeling adventurous, there are opportunities for bush walks and wildlife spotting. 2 friendly dogs share the property. If you or someone in your group are afraid of dogs or have a dog allergy this may not be the ideal choice for you.

My name is hard to pronounce, so people call me Gerry. My wife Megan and I are semi-retired. We enjoy living a quiet life and exploring our bush property. We decided to try hosting because we enjoy meeting people and sharing our unique property with others.

The property is surrounded by bushland. The nearest neighbour is about 500m away. There are national parks and nature reserves nearby, and of course the historic town of Childers is just down the road. If you like fishing or kayaking, Paradise dam is just over half an hour away by car or you might choose to take a dip or cast a line at Woodgate Beach which is also just over half an hour away. Other local attractions include Wineries, the Paragon Theatre, the Historical Complex, Childers Reptile park and Zoo, and Flying High Bird Park.
