Exceptionally clean, well-provisioned with small appliances essential to travelling for work. Very friendly, professional and helpful staff. Parking at room door is an 'old-fashioned motel' bonus without the property being antiquated at all - in fact it was modern, private, quiet and comfortable. Everything you need for a secure and comfortable overnighter at a reasonable price. Restaurant breakfast (and entire menu) was contemporary and delicious.

Very busy place - very little to no accommodation when needed. Only stayed short time as went to visit other places around area - 1770 and Childers - with great accommodation and very nice and friendly staff.

Bundaberg is a thriving country town with a huge array of...

Bundaberg is a thriving country town with a huge array of shops in the centre of town. It also has some well-preserved historic buildings and beautiful garden features. Then there's the Rum Distillery to visit and the Bundaberg Brewed Drinks Factory as well - guided tours available at both. We enjoyed taking a short drive to the beach town of Bargara and wish we'd also visited Burnett Heads. At Bargara, there are lots of seafood cafes and other coffee shops in the main street and along the beautiful esplanade, which has lots of picnic areas and walking paths right by the sea - all very attractive.

A short drive to Bargara, a great spot. The botanical gardene are amazing. The tourist spots were fun. The restaurants and cafes are of high quality food. The river has lovely views. Plenty to do and see. Cant wait to return. The leisure centre , bundy bowl is great for older children. The taverns and clubs have great menus and meals. Good service at all food venues was exceptional.

We stayed at Bargara which is a beach suburb of Bundy.

We stayed at Bargara which is a beach suburb of Bundy. It has a bit of a “mini Noosa” feel to it with foreshore park, walking path & playground, modern apartment blocks, and a nice pub, cafe and shopping area across from the beach. Bundy’s easy to drive around as everywhere’s only about 15mins max away from everywhere else. We did the Bundy Rum Distillery tour which was interesting and entertaining (and includes 2 drinks at the end!) Go to the Bundy RSL for great steak and join as a social member for $1.00 (for a year!) and get discounted food & drinks - bargain!

I like the red volcanic soils with most sugarcane, farms near to beaches. Although, weather was hot and humid. I have interesting visit at Monos Repts Turtle Centre and know about hidden truth about marine turtles.

The people were great but the city layout leaves a lot to be desired. In my opinion it is said to be a retirement town but still wonderful to visit with all the accessible beaches and turtle nesting sites. Also the home of Bundaberg Rum so a walk through is nearly mandatory

The room, despite being 'older' in style, was clean and well-appointed. The bathroom was very roomy, had enough hanging space for towels etc and included a spa bath! The beds were comfortable with working electrical/white goods, air conditioning and fans. The restaurant downstairs served excellent meals at a very reasonable price and we found all the staff very friendly and helpful. In fact, we had to return to Bundaberg a few weeks later and were disappointed the hotel was fully booked that time.

This hotel takes dogs, and it is the only reason we stopped there. We only slept in the room, spending most of our time away. Bundaberg in general is not very pet friendly.
