The road in was a beautiful adventure in lush landscape that lured you in with your eyes and senses. Recent heavy rains may have caused dirt road erosion to the cabin at the top, but even that was part of this marvellous experience. More suited to...

Location is stunning, absolutely free of any man made noise, bed is super comfortable. At night not a light can be seen, adding to the feeling of seclusion. Even made the road up, in my VWR32.

Rob and Gaily
The setting is on the side of a mountain ridge overlooking the caldera of Mt Warning/Wolumbin mountain. Access is via a bumpy but good road. The property is 30 acres and has been used for Various farming enterprises and Timber harvesting circa 1920-50. The settler's cottage at the entrance was originally built about 1920. We call this "Sweetwater Cottage" due to the sweet spring water that flows naturally here. It has been used as a home, a packing shed for bananas and Avocados. That cottage was restored by Rob & helpers in and about 2018. Eagles Rest has been built (Rob again) from timbers sourced from this property, and they are 100 % ecologically sustainable.
Gaily is an Artist of some renown and has many high-quality original works for sale upon enquiry. Rob is a timber fellow and also has some product for sale upon enquiry.
There are a few commendable restaurants and a wine bar in Burringbar Village. Also, there is a traditional Pub in the nearby community of Moobal. Brunswick Heads has a great beach and river play areas, hire boats, picnic tables, patrolled beach. Also, newly implemented, Paid Parking, unless you park near the boat harbour and walk in. There are many other activities throughout this area. Enjoy.
