Wonderful location by the beach, cafes and restaurants. Easy access with privacy and a casual vibe thrown in. Oh and the beautiful pool of course.... or 2 pools although it was a little cool this time for a dip. Kingscliff itself is close enough to stroll around the classy shops after a short drive. Unlimited variety of eating spots both close to accommodation and in Kingscliff too. There's not much to not like. I loved it.

What Guests Said About Kingscliff:

Kingscliff beach didn't have great surfing waves.

Kingscliff beach didn't have great surfing waves. It has great cafes and restaurants and weather. It is stylish and modern but also has a classic feel. The main hotel in Kingscliff was pretty quiet on a Saturday night, only about 10 people on the dancefloor.

Beaches and Cudgen Creek are pristine and a pleasure to swim in. Cudgen Creek is walking distance to South Beach so the best of both worlds so close to each other. If you have small children watch the currents in the deeper waters in cudgen creek. Picnic tables are available at all beaches and North beach has the surf club that has a cafe and bistro. Kingscliff is a beautiful coastal town to visit and very walkable to everything.

Kingscliff is a magical town.

Kingscliff is a magical town. Beautiful, long stretches of beach so it’s never crowded. The cyclone did quite a bit of damage, so best to swim between the flags. Sunsets at Dreamtime Beach are spectacular. Lots of great restaurants, cafes and bakeries nearby too. Great walking/cycling tracks too.

Our room overlooked the pool and ocean and was amazing. Location was awesome and we could walk a short stroll to restaurant's and cafe's which was great. No need to get the car out unless you wanted to explore further. The facilities were great and staff very friendly.

We loved the cleen beahes, not a lot of restaurants, but we ventured out in the car to other nearby towns with more choice. We are an older couple, so the tranquility suited us, lovely pizzas at Jordys, and great fish shop, Stunned Mullet Cabriata beach, 2 minutes drive away.

Stay away - drunk or drugged out body in the foyer we had to step over to get to the lift when we first arrived after a flight and drive. "Welcome to the Paradiso". Then our keys would open the verandah - but not open the room itself. Over an hour we stood outside our room on the phone late at night with management - useless. The room through the window looked like squatters were hiding in there - non existent security. Lucky we had a car and could find other accomodation late at night. Thank God for reputable businesses elsewhere.... and here we are over 3 weeks later and they still won't refund our money. And no mention of helping with the extra $600 we had to fork out to get accomodation so late up the road! Beware Beware Beware. And if you do go there - ask to try your key on other units - it's handy because it gives you free access to other peoples verandahs - brilliant.

Loved our room, it had such a relaxed, beachy feel, exactly what you’d hope for in Kingscliff. The pop-out window with bench seating was a highlight perfect for morning coffee from the on-site café van while enjoying the breeze. The bathroom was super trendy, and the Malin + Goetz hand soap smelled amazing! The unique touches throughout the room made it feel really special, especially for the price of a one-night stay. We’ll definitely be back in the future!

An excellent three bedroom unit with a open air deck above the unit (and only accessible by that unit). All the facilities needed for an extended stay. Excellent and easy to follow instructions for entry and parking. In a great location on the beach front within very short distance of all shops, cafes and the fantastic Kingscliff Hotel. Highly recommended.

For a stay in Kingscliff, the location doesn't get much better - right opposite the beach and in the heart of the cafe and restaurant precinct. We stepped out of our apartment to so many good little places, and when we went back there was so much space to relax indoors and on the balcony. Lots of storage space, well appointed kitchen too.

Booked this hotel for our friends and family for our wedding weekend and it exceeded our expectations. We had pool rooms which made it so easy for everyone to hang out by the pool together. The restaurant Spice Den was delicious, rooms were huge for getting ready in. Will be booking again for our anniversary!
