What makes the Eco Villa environmentally friendly? Eco Villa is a part of Dreamers, a 5 acre vacation rental complex designed by previous owners Mal and Wendy Lee. Mal's interest in sustainable design saw him complete his masters in renewable energy at Nottingham University in the UK. This led to the concept of developing accommodation which was environmentally friendly and through that, Eco Villa was created. Eco Villa endeavours to cut power and gas consumption by using solar energy and innovative design processes such as a radiant cooling system which draws cool air from the stream running beneath the building. The internal décor and fittings are of low emission paints, recycled timbers and natural fibre curtains. Since taking over the property we have made several improvements to the building and garden, we take pride in providing our guests with a high standard of amenity and to create a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

My wife Janet and I are the new owners of Eco Villa Mt. Beauty from August 2019, (formerly the Penthouse at Dreamers Spa Resort) which came about from a chance stay at Dreamers. As avid bike riders we love the natural beauty of the area, fresh air and the tranquility of the High Country. We hope you enjoy staying there as much as we do.

Within a 3 minute walk our property offers great amenity. Nearby there is are several cafes, a bakery, ski, bike and fishing equipment hire, a brewery, a smoke house butcher (now in Mt Beauty), a restaurant, a local pub, a service station and the bus service to Falls Creek. Within a 5 minute walk you will find the Kiewa River, a perfect place for a swim on a hot day. A 10 minute walk gets you to The Pondage which offers fishing, water activities, a BBQ and kids play area and of course magnificent views to Mt. Bogong and the surrounding area.
