Minutes from the highway and beach, this magical 2-acre bush/garden setting offers a unique Tasmanian experience. Sit on the rivulet bank and watch platypus, trout, wallabies, native hens and more roam around. Lay in the hammock and listen to the water and birds. The spacious, comfortable 2 storey accommodation features a cosy log fire, full kitchen, laundry and balcony views. As a special treat, we provide a torch for spotlighting nocturnal animals and food for the resident ducks each day.
We love sharing our magical property with guests from all over the world. Although the accomodation is on the same property as our personal home, we make an effort to be invisible and give our guests total privacy and permission to make full use of the property during their stay. We love to see people enjoying the beauty and nature of this amazing piece of Tasmania. We are both artistic, creative people who are constantly improving the property with art instillations and gardens. We love to creat special nooks where guests can sit, relax and enjoy their time.
Situated in the centre of NW Tasmania, we are close to the Spirit of Tasmania terminal in Devonport. Within a 50km radius guests can visit natural wonders such as cradle mountain, leven canyon, guided limestone cave tours, wineries, distilleries, explore the food trail, cruise up the Leven river enjoy fine dining or order uber eats and just chill at home.
