Glan-y-mor Studio is a fully self-contained studio apartment located in the heart of Metung. With its filtered lake view, luxurious bathroom and well-appointed kitchen, Glan-y-mor offers you a place to relax and unwind in the beautiful environment of the Gippsland Lakes. This boutique accommodation is located just 400 metres from the village cafes and hotel. Metung Hot Springs is only a 10 minute drive away. This private space is peaceful and has a filtered lake view. You can relax in the generous bath and soak up the ambiance of this beautiful location. The studio has a king size bed. The kitchen is appointed with a cook-top, dishwasher, coffee maker and microwave. The BBQ on the private north-facing deck sets the scene. The studio is ideal for a single or couple's getaway or equally suited for a business person with WiFi and inbuilt USB charging points.
We are a retired professional couple in our sixties who reside at Glan-y-Mor in Metung, Victoria. We travel regularly. We have a modern Studio apartment in Metung and a brand new luxury house in Nungurner overlooking the Gippsland Lakes , which both offer lovely private spaces for fellow travellers, couples or families just wanting to get away.
The Gippsland Lakes are East Gippsland's Riviera. With over 420 square kilometres of inland waterways, fishing and boating are key activities. Metung has the newly opened Hot Springs, a golf course and peaceful walks along it's shorelines. The iconic waterside Metung Hotel and several good cafes and restaurants are within walking distance from the Studio. The Lakes offer a beautiful environment with abundant birdlife and natural nearby attractions such as the Ninety Mile Beach, Buchan Caves and several other National Parks. Metung is just over a two hour drive from the ski fields of Mt Hotham and Dinner Plain through the beautiful Tambo Valley and historic Omeo.
