Although HighRoost feels secluded, we are only 45 minutes from Adelaide CBD. Positioned right in the middle of the best of the Adelaide Hills attractiions. The accommodation is the studio cottage which is separated from the main house. Our stay provides an unique experience in tranquillity and peacefulness of this secluded location with its eclectic country charm, a place to just chill out. HighRoost, like many outback Australia landscapes has massive, harsh yet beautiful views that change with the season. The kind of views that has inspired artist of many forms, from Nolan, McCubbin, Boyd, Namatjira and Heysen. In fact, The Cedars is home to both Hans Heysen’s gallery and amasing garden. Amongst the rolling hills you can find the Langhorne Creek vineyards, The Monarto Safari Park, the largest outside Africa. Horse drawn carriage rides. Lots off stunning little country towns and markets to visit and eat out. Equally, if want to take it a little quietly, HighRoost, has many little nooks and seating areas to enjoy what nature has to offer. Note the last 4 kM is a dirt road with several small creek crossings adding to the country experience. Please come and explore this hidden gems of the Adelaide Hills. Sit by the outside fire with a glass or two, chat and connect with nature.
The owner who has a passion for this exception rural property. We are small farm holding with the intent of making cheese. Come and hand feed my girls.
So much to see of the Adelaide Hill all within 30 KMs. There are car museums, art galleries, vineyards, distilleries, bushwalks, wetlands, wildlife safari park, picture theatre and grate dinning options.,
