We know this petite cottage will provide you with a private and warm welcoming space just for the two of you. The owners have researched older style miners cottages and have chosen the facilities and furnishings with care and love. A welcome pack of tea, coffee sugar & fresh milk is provided. The bathroom is AMAZING - so new and stylish, the bed has been resized to a queen, with a lovely comfortable mattress and a wool doona. Neighborhood info

Juniper & Rye is set in a unique location. Right at the end of Ham Road, the cottage is on the edge of Sherbrooke Forest. You can simply walk out your back gate, across the green mown grass and then into the forest - hike up the mountain to Sassafras Village - maybe stop in at the Piggery Cafe at Burnham Beeches, or revive yourselves at Proserpina Bakery in Sassy, or any of the lovely little cafes. Puffing Billy Steam train is 'down the road' in Belgrave, so if a Dinner Train appeals, or just a trip by steam through the beautiful scenery, then this may be just the ticket. Yarra Valley wineries are only a lovely 50 minute drive from Juniper & Rye. So much, or so little to do - that's your choice.
