Kiewa View is a three bedroom holiday house with two toilets and two showers on it's own garden block. Kiewa View can comfortably accommodate 8 to 9 guests depending on the length of stay and the number of singles and doubles in the group. Maximum occupancy is 9. The layout of Kiewa View works well for two families sharing, three couples of a mix of couples and singles. Kiewa View operates on the traditional holiday house format where guest bring their own linen. Our three and a half star accommodation focuses on comfort and convenience at a value price range rather than opulent luxury. We especially cater for active guests who will find space for their gear and equipment with an absence of scatter cushions crowding them out. It is not all go go activity for guests staying at Kiewa View. The sun deck is a great spot to relax before heading out or for a refreshing drink when finishing activities for the day. On a hot afternoon the shaded rear garden with pergola and BBQ is a peaceful spot. Skiers, get excellent heating and drying and can load and unload their car under cover in winter. Cyclists have a garage for under cover storage and maintenance, & track pump, and there is a fish cleaning table.

At 30 Km from the village, Mount Beauty is the closest town to Falls Creek ski resort and an ideal economical base for both downhill and cross country skiing. Mount Beauty has a renowned reputation for mountain bike events and has produced world champions. Only a few minutes ride from Kiewa View is the Big Hill mountain bike park trail head, and Mount Beauty is mid-way between the near-by mountain bike parks at Falls Creek and Bright. Kiewa View is also an ideal base for mountain bike touring on the Bogong High Plains and in the National Park and State Forests surrounding Mount Beauty. Trails vary from easy family rides to challenging. Mount Beauty is becoming an increasingly popular base for road cyclists because of the scenery and the opportunity for challenging alpine climbs. A popular diversion away from their activities for our guests is to visit the cellar doors near Mount Beauty and the cool climate wineries on the way to and from Kiewa View. Opportunities to fish in the Mount Beauty pondage and the Kiewa River are only a few minutes walk from Kiewa View. Mount Beauty is also an ideal base for walking in the Alpine National Park, including to the summit of Mt Bogong.
