I warmly welcome you to my beautiful new home La Casetta. Perfect for one or two couples or four singles looking for a unique luxury escape to the Blue Mountains. As you enter the front door there is a bedroom either side of the spacious hallway which leads to the open plan lounge kitchen and dining room. The lounge area opens up onto the garden and undercover outdoor deck with table and BBQ. The kitchen is spacious and has new quality appliances and cookware and everything you could possibly need plus essentials such as coffee, tea, oil etc. Each bedroom has a king size bed, which can be split to king singles. High quality bed linen, towels and local IKOU products are provided. The ensuite bathroom has a double shower and a bath, the 2nd bathroom includes the washing machine and clothes dryer. Both bathrooms have underfloor heating and heated towels rails. At the press of a button the cottage is very cosy with a gas fire that gives warmth and ambience plus reverse cycle air conditioning. A sonos sound system for your music is available. The front verandah overlooks the pretty tree lined street with bush views towards Katoomba.

The building and decorating of La Casetta has been an exciting project over these strange times we are living in at present. I'm sure you will enjoy the peace and tranquility of the Blue Mountains. The weekends can get quite busy especially around spring with the open gardens or festivals. Winter is also popular. So delightful if we are lucky enough to experience a light dusting of snow. The different seasons are quite spectacular with the colours of the gardens constantly changing. Gardening is a pleasure I enjoy because of the climate that allows us to grow so many different cold climate plants and shrubs. I love to travel especially to Italy as I have a passion for learning the language and skiing in the Dolomite mountains. Hiking is something I enjoy and here in the beautiful Blue Mountains there are endless trails to explore. Please enjoy your stay in my home away from home, 'La Casetta' (the little cottage) and please don't hesitate to ask if there is anything you may need to know.

La Casetta is situated in a pretty quiet tree lined street. An easy flat stroll of one kilometer will take you to the delightful village of Leura which offers wonderful cafes, restaurants, boutiques, creative clothes, jewellery, gift shops, galleries, beauty and massage spas. Spectacular scenery and bush walks are a few minutes walk from the cottage and other major tourist attractions, restaurants, galleries and shops are a short drive away. Meadlow Bath and Blackheath are just a little further along the road along with half day trips to the Botanic Gardens of Mt Tomah and Jenolan Caves. Mt Victoria with it's iconic cinema, 'Mt Vic Flicks' takes you back in time. Things to see and do are just endless.
