Welcoming guests to stay in my home regularly is something that I absolutely enjoy as part of my role as your host. I get to meet so many people from an array of different backgrounds. Along the way, I have already made some really treasured friends. Lindsay House is something very special for all who visit.

Lindsay House is a historical Armidale treasure which has been refurbished to bring a modern touch to this beautiful piece of history.
Lindsay House is located close to Armidale’s CBD where it overlooks Central Park.
Lindsay House was originally named after Edith Dulce Lindsay. Once the home and business practice of Dr. Walter Eli Harris, whom the house was built for in 1918.
The home was later purchased by the Armidale Teachers' College (later the University of New England) in 1972 and was used as student accommodation.
Since then, Lindsay House has been restored to its original beauty while still adding a modern touch to this iconic Armidale residence.
Our rooms are furnished with quality beds, linen and furnishings. Coffee / tea and a fridge in the sun room are provided for all guests to use during their stay.
Lindsay House has been a guest house for many years with guests enjoying the house and its "old world" atmosphere, along with everything else Armidale has to offer.
Visit Armidale for the national parks, waterfalls, cafes, pubs, university, art gallery, education, country races, street festivals, winery, breweries, and more!
