Loved the old buildings.

Loved the old buildings. Since my last visit 50 years ago I can see its not the same clean town it used to be, farmland was good sheep and cattle were doing well even though we could see farmers feeding them for winter

A wonderful stay with clean rooms, great comfort, and a welcoming atmosphere and welcoming Staff and Service. We felt relaxed throughout our visit and were very happy with the overall fabulous experience. It was more than worth the price and offered excellent value for money. We would happily come back again. Highly recommended!

Beautifull place to stay.

Beautifull place to stay. Armidale has a lot of heritage buildings, Colleges and magnificent trees lining most of the streets. The colours of the tree foliage changes with all the seasons. Plenty of places to dine out plus has all the usual retail shopping outlets.

There are plenty of attractions to explore in the area — waterfalls, lookouts, adventure parks, rainforests, and long winding roads that stretch across panoramic landscapes. The city itself presents an antique townscape, highlighted by two beautiful historic churches that add character and charm. Many of the major attractions are located about 50–100 km from Armidale. Nonetheless, this is quite common across Australia, where natural landmarks are often spread out and part of the journey becomes an experience in itself.

Armidale was a weekend getaway for us.

Armidale was a weekend getaway for us. We love the art gallery and it has a great cafe. We ate at Nepalese restaurant. Yum! And wandered around antique shops. Then a drive around the area. Visited Uralla, Gostwyck Chapel and Wollomombi Gorge. We definitely recommend Armidale for a weekend trip.

On arrival we where greeted by owners and they where so helpful and cheerful. Upgraded us to the King suit in the new wing which was so nice. Got to enjoy the lounge area and the fireplace after being directed to a great pub for dinner. Coffee in the morning was fantastic, again directed by the owners. So very nice from check in to check out. If staying in Armidale, stay here.

It's so affordable for the location! If you're feeling lazy there's food options next door or the beautiful main street of Armidale is a 2 minute walk. The man in reception that greeted us was so lovely which meant a lot after a long drive. He even upgraded us! Sure the rooms are not 5 star but I have stayed in places much worse that charged a lot more!
