Lorelei B&B is a large, gracious, Federation-style home with a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere in central Portland. We aim to make your stay as enjoyable and affordable as possible and highly value our customers and their 'experience' of staying with us while enjoying all of our facilities, complimentary refreshments, food and breakfast at our highly-rated B&B. Our previously communal amenities such as the Breakfast Buffet, coffee machine, BBQ etc are now provided exclusively for each room. Improved extra lounge and dining facilities have been added to provide more choice and privacy for guests. This is exclusive for our guests and not open to the public. We have also introduced options to allow guests to dine in-house by offering antipasto platters, BBQ provisions and catering for picnic lunches. Chairs, cooler and beach towels can also be provided. This will assist guests wishing to avoid crowded pubs and restaurants during their stay. We have added Bitcoin and PayPal payment options. These are in addition to our usual payment methods of Visa, MasterCard, JCB and American Express. Please message with any questions on these payments methods
I have owned and managed Lorelei B&B since 2004 and I enjoy living in the south-west coastal region of Victoria, Australia. Portland, and nearby districts, are a wonderful experience surrounded by amazing rugged coastline, native forests and easy short day-trips to many spectacular attractions in the region. My children and I feel so lucky to be living in this beautiful part of the world. Lorelei B&B is a fully-hosted B&B where I live on-site. There is a separate living area for me and my family, so guests are able to enjoy a comfortable, private, relaxed atmosphere. I am readily available to assist in any matter and am always happy to help where I can during your stay.
We are centrally located in Portland, but far enough away from the busy roads or highway to allow us to enjoy the peace of this quiet country town. Most eateries and attractions within the township are located with 600 metres of the B&B and are an easy 5 to 10 minute walk or perhaps a 15 minute walk to the water's edge at the harbour 800 metres away.
