The cosy bungalow, meticulously curated, with a comfy queen size bed, has been purposefully designed as an intimate retreat for couples or solo travellers. Unwind and relax in the calming luxury of the indoor rainfall shower. The bathroom collection makes it easy to freshen up after a beach walk or swim. Surrounded by 2500sqm of lush tropical and native gardens, the bungalow and the main house offer a serene environment where you can enjoy the melodic symphony of local birdsong and watch the playful antics of rock wallabies as they frolic in the garden’s embrace. Just a hop, skip & jump from the beach, you will fall in love with Hydeaway Bay.
We absolutely adore Hydeaway Bay. We love the sand, sea and salty air. Beach walks & low tide foraging make for wonderful shelf finds.
Hydeaway Bay is a small coastal hamlet on the outer fringe of the Great Barrier Reef. Green turtles make their nests along our sands. Moana Bungalow is a 45 minute drive from Airlie Beach, gateway to the islands.
