Moogie House offers space, serenity and scenery to our guests. The perfect country getaway. The accommodation sits on 19 rural acres of koala habitat with wildlife all around. Moogie House is a stylish renovated house that provides space for families, couples and friends to come together with stunning lake and mountain views. Beside Lake Moogerah, in the heart of the Scenic Rim. Sleeps up to 6 guests with 3 bedrooms: 2 x queen bedrooms and 1 twin room. With outdoor entertaining and al fresco dining with bbq and pizza oven. Indoor tropical spa room with hot tub/jacuzzi for 6. Outdoor fireplace and seating to stargaze the Moogerah night skies. Moogie House has full laundry facilities with washer and dryer. The house is equipped with fans and/or reverse cycle air conditioners in all rooms. Well equipped kitchen with Miele appliances, dishwasher, oven and coffee machine. With free WIFI, Smart TV and streaming services for your entertainment, books and boardgames to complete the getaway. Tara is originally from England, and Ian from Scotland. They have both travelled extensively around the world and met whilst both working at sea on cruise ships before deciding to settle in Australia. Having moved from the coast in NSW to SE QLD they are keen to share this beautiful part of the world they now call home with their guests. Everything is here on your doorstep! Bring your boat. Close to top wedding venues in the locality (we can help with transfers if necessary). With 6 national parks close by for hikes and trails. The region is a-buzz with events and activities for all the family. With food and drink to sample at wineries, breweries, cafes, restaurants and many farm gate producers. Being just over an hour from Brisbane and Gold Coast it's the perfect getaway. Close to the townships of Kalbar and Boonah for amenities and shopping. Relax, unwind, breathe in the fresh country air and enjoy the serenity.

We welcome dogs. Please advise at time of booking details. Note as the property is unfenced dogs need to be supervised at all times. With native wildlife on the property, please keep your dogs under control. Dogs are allowed inside, however not on beds or furniture. Both front and rear balcony are fully enclosed.
