This is a little oasis. From each room you can look across natural bushland & the sea at mountains. The house is secluded enough that it feels a world away from the hustle and bustle of city life, but is close enough to the town of Swansea that restaurants and coffee shops are a short drive or walk along the beach away.
I love travelling off the beaten path, and have been lucky enough to do so in many countries. Tasmania is a relatively new favourite for me. There's just so much variety, and I'm enjoying discovering more of it with my family.
The East Coast of Tasmania is spectacular. Nine Mile Beach is just that: 9 miles of sand (and rarely another soul on it) on a sparkling bay under mountains. Wineglass Bay and Freycinet are about 45 minutes drive away - with plenty of wineries, beaches and wildlife along the way.
