Pomonal Cottages are set on 14 acres, surrounded by native bush land and plenty of wildlife including kangaroos,echidna's,emu's, lizards and birds. We have 6, two bedroom cottages and 1, 3 bedroom cottage. All are air conditioned, have fully equipped kitchens, a lounge area and bathrooms. Linen and towels are provided for all guests. There is a seasonal outdoor lagoon pool and a large recreation area ideal for groups or family gatherings. An open grassed area can be used for games of football, soccer or cricket, there is room to ride bikes, and a playground for younger children. Tables and chairs are provided in the recreation area and a bbq for guests to use. Barneys Bistro and Bar is located next door to the Cottages, a good place to go for a meal or a drink. there are plenty of other dining options in Halls Gap, a short drink away. Within easy access of the Cottages are many and varied walking and cycling tracks.

Pomonal is centrally located, allowing visitors to explore the Grampians National Park where a variety of experiences such as walking, hiking, viewing amazing scenery, seeing waterfalls and wildflowers can be found. Visitors can also explore Halls Gap, local wineries, Lake Fyans, and historic old gold mining areas. Pomonal Village has a General store for your day to day needs and a good coffee, Red Rock Olives have a farm gate and café, there are native plant nurseries and a monthly community market - last Sunday of each month in the new Pomonal hall. Barney’s Bar and Bistro is located 200 metres from the cottage at the entrance to our driveway, close enough to wander down for a meal or a drink. Best to book a table. Pomonal is located 10 minutes’ drive from Halls Gap and is a short drive to Stawell and Ararat.
