We decided to share our lower level 2 bedroom river cottage .. it has 2 bedrooms with queen beds. It has minimum furnishings and pantry items.. it is located on the ground floor but is separate from the upper level completely and has 1 off street carport parking space.... there is a fantastic river and hills view from the front 2 rooms plus the verandah out the front.. The cottage is a 4 min walk to the river reserve, boat ramp and main street with its lovely Historic Hotels & boutique shops
Mannum is a small tourist destination on the River Murray. It is a Historic Town with a lot of history & original buildings scattered around.. many being on the main street. It is well placed to visit Adelaide's World Famous wineries in the Barossa Valley, Adelaide Hills and of course McLaren Vale (of which a car company loved the name so much it has branded itself and made it a household name!!). Also you can jump onto the 100yo paddle boat for a meal and a lovely, relaxing cruise along the River! . Australia's largest Free Range ZOO (& the largest African Safari Park outside of Africa) MONARTO ZOO, is only a 30 minute drive away.. you can jump on the bus and relax in comfort & safety! There is also Australia's NEWEST & arguably the BEST Drag Racing & Touring/Supercar tracks located 40 minutes away at Tailem Bend for another MUST see!!
